This page is a working draft for a Texas attorney to review before public launch. It is not yet final.
Terms of sale and use
Last updated: draft.
1. What you are buying
A personal license to use the members library, tools and templates (the "Library") for your own education and business. Payment is processed by our payment provider, which acts as the seller of record for the transaction.
2. Your license
One license is for one person on up to 3 devices. You may not share your key, resell, copy, republish or distribute the Library or any part of it, or use it to build a competing product. Templates may be adapted for your own business. We may suspend access for misuse without refund.
3. All sales final
Refunds are governed by the Refund policy, which you accept at checkout.
4. Educational information only
The Library is educational information. It is not legal, tax, insurance, accounting or engineering advice and does not create a professional relationship. It is not a course approved by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners and does not count toward licensing, training, continuing-education or exam-eligibility requirements. Laws, rules and fees change; you are responsible for confirming current requirements with the responsible agency and qualified professionals.
5. No income promises
We make no promise about income, profit or business results.
6. Accuracy and updates
We cite sources and date our facts and correct reported rule errors within 7 days under the Accuracy Promise. Beyond that, the Library is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Included updates run for 12 months from purchase.
7. Limits of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Library is limited to the amount you paid, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
8. Intellectual property
The Library is protected by copyright. Third-party names and marks belong to their owners and are used only to identify them. Plumbing codes are copyrighted works of their publishers; the Library summarizes and cites them and does not reproduce them.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
